With Harper-Lynn being three and a half this Christmas season I knew it would be extra special! We have had so much fun the last month! We did pictures with Santa on a John Deer tractor (H was still not loving Santa this year!!!), attended our town's annual lighted Christmas parade, took part in Elf of the Shelf shenanigans with an Elf named Tinsley, H donated ALL of the pennies she saved the entire year to the Salvation Army, wore Christmas-themed clothes for 25+ Days!, went to a few Christmas parties, H did great in her school performance and outstanding in her dance performance, made an adorable gingerbread house that was destroyed by our dog accidentally within 2 hours, gave and received lots of gifts, attended my sister's church for Christmas Eve, took Grammie with us to our church's big Christmas program, did Christmas-themed photo shoots plus our annual jammie shoot with H's cousins, made countless crafts, saw the movie, The Good Dinosaur, went on a real train ride (our version of The Polar Express), did some baking, read a ton of Christmas books and watched a lot of movies, fell in love with The Nutcracker Ballet, sent and received Christmas cards, really focused on the birth of Christ (Harper-Lynn amazed me with her knowledge of the night of our Savior's birth), learned new Christmas songs (H LOVES The Twelve Days of Christmas this year!), attended a friend's birthday party at Mojobas, did some anonymous good deeds, H sent her first letter to Santa, had a few too many doctor's appointments throughout the month (Ha!), but most of all, we just enjoyed each day with each other in some way. Time seemed to just fly by like usual. I'm so thankful for this time with Harper-Lynn.
